How do you level up fast in Palworld?
Kill things. Catching and crafting XP barely move after the early game, while kill XP scales with level all the way to 60.
Palworld records a separate experience value for every way you can earn it, at every level, and reading the table settles the question that guides argue about: crafting is not a levelling strategy past the first few hours.
| At level | Per kill | Per craft | Per build | XP to next level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10 | 5 | 5 | 0 |
| 10 | 56 | 5 | 5 | 1,500 |
| 20 | 259 | 6 | 7 | 9,409 |
| 30 | 626 | 5 | 10 | 31,210 |
| 40 | 1250 | 5 | 11 | 85,389 |
| 50 | 2468 | 5 | 12 | 230,983 |
| 60 | 4765 | 5 | 13 | 610,983 |
Kill experience goes from 56 at level 10 to 4,765 at level 60 — it scales with you. Crafting experience is 5 at level 60, the same as it was at level 10 and at level 1. That is a 953× gap, and it is why grinding a workbench stops being worth the materials.
Late levels are where this matters most: going from 50 to 60 needs 4,120,399 experience. Fighting things at or above your own level is the only source that keeps pace — alpha Pals and tower bosses give the most per encounter.
Numbers are the game’s own per-level table. They describe what an action is worth, not how quickly you can repeat it, so treat them as the ceiling rather than a schedule.
