What platforms is Palworld on?
PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Cloud Gaming, PS5, and Mac via the Mac App Store. Not PS4, not Switch.
- PC — Steam. Windows 64-bit is the only operating system in Steam’s requirements, so there is no Linux build and no Steam Mac build.
- Xbox — Series X|S, Xbox One and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
- PlayStation 5 — including a PS5 Pro Enhanced version.
- Mac — a native build, but on the Mac App Store rather than Steam. It needs an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) and macOS 14 or later.
The Mac version is the one people get wrong, and it is easy to see why: Steam lists Windows only, so checking the platform you already own says “no Mac”. Pocketpair shipped it as a separate App Store release instead. If you buy it there, note that it is a separate purchase from your Steam copy.
Not available: PlayStation 4 — the PlayStation store lists PS5 only. Nintendo Switch is not a listed platform.
