The ranch
29 Pals carry a Farming suitability, which is the stat that decides whether they can be put on a ranch and how fast they work it. Levels run from 1 to 4, and the gap matters more than people assume — a level 4 rancher is not slightly better than a level 1, it is a different tier of output.

What the Farming level actually does
Every base job in Palworld runs on the same model: a task carries a work amount, and an assigned Pal chews through it at a rate set by its suitability level for that job. The ranch is no different, which is why Dumud Gild and Sibelyx Primo at level 4 produce meaningfully faster than the level-1 ranchers, rather than just a bit faster.

Building one
The ranch itself is a base structure with a stated material cost, and it is on the buildings list with everything else. If you are planning a base around one, the build calculator totals the materials and expands them down to what you actually have to go and farm.
The one thing this page will not tell you
What each Pal produces on the ranch. That is not in any data table Palworld ships — it is defined inside each Pal’s Blueprint, which is a different kind of asset from the tables this site is built on. The right-hand column above is each Pal’s drop table — what it gives when defeated — and it is labelled that way because that is what it is. For a lot of ranch Pals the two happen to be the same item, and you can probably guess correctly from it, but a guess that is usually right is still a guess, and everything else on this site is not.
