Ancient Technology Points come only from tower bosses. Ordinary levelling never provides them, which is why this cannot be bought with the points you accumulate.
Guild Chest exists to unlock Guild Chest, and becomes available at level 41 for 4 Ancient Technology points.
What it unlocks
Level 41 unlocks 9 technologies in total, and you will not have the points for all of them. The others are Mammorest Cryst Saddle (2), Yakumo Saddle (2), Alpha Wave Generator (3), Electric Heater (3), Electric Kitchen (3), Semi-Auto Rifle (3), Xenogard Saddle (3) and Cold Resistant Refined Metal Armor (4). The planner opens with Guild Chest already picked, and works a points budget against the whole tree.
