Ancient Technology Points come only from tower bosses. Ordinary levelling never provides them, which is why this cannot be bought with the points you accumulate.
Scatter Sphere Launcher exists to unlock Scatter Sphere Launcher, and becomes available at level 38 for 5 Ancient Technology points.
What it unlocks
Level 38 unlocks 9 technologies in total, and you will not have the points for all of them. The others are Leather Chair Set (1), Deluxe Bait (2), Ground Grenade (2), Ice Mine (2), Refrigerator (2), Meteor Launcher (3), Pal Surgery Table (3) and Quivern Saddle (3). The planner opens with Scatter Sphere Launcher already picked, and works a points budget against the whole tree.
