How do bounty tokens work in Palworld?

Two currencies share the name. 34 named bounty targets — wanted human bosses like Aloha, Billy, Brick — drop exchange currency when defeated, and 100 per-Pal bounty tokens (Anubis Bounty Token and the like) come from hunting specific Pals. Both feed the same place: the Bounty Exchange.

The exchange’s stock is stated in the game’s shop table, and the reason to care is that several of its items are hard to get anywhere else — the implants that grant a passive directly, and the stat fruits.

The implants are the sleeper here: an Implant: Musclehead puts the passive on a Pal directly, no breeding project required — fifteen tokens against potentially dozens of eggs. The named targets themselves are listed with their stats on the NPC page.
