How do you get more technology points in Palworld?

Short answer

One point per player level, plus Ancient Technology Points from bosses — spent across a tree that costs far more than you can earn.

Technology points come from levelling — you get them as you level up, and that is the only renewable source. There is no item that grants them and no way to farm them directly, which is why the answer to “how do I get more” is really “what should I spend them on”.

The scale of the problem, from the game’s own technology table: the 533 ordinary unlocks cost 1,398 points in total. You cannot unlock everything on one character without levelling far past where most people stop.

A separate 46 unlocks are Ancient Technology, costing 170 Ancient Technology Points, and those come only from defeating tower bosses — a different currency that ordinary levelling never provides. The full tree with each unlock’s level and cost is on the technology page.
